Our Policy

To maintain our pocket-friendly prices and ensure product integrity, we do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds on any products sold. All sales are final.

We encourage you to read the product descriptions carefully and review your order before making a purchase.

Exception: Manufacturing Defects Only

We stand by the quality of our products. The only exception to our “no return” policy is in the rare case that you receive a product with a genuine manufacturing defect.

How to Report a Defective Product

If you believe you have received a defective item, you must follow this process within 24 hours of receiving your order:

  1. Contact Us Immediately: Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: “Defective Product Report – Order #[Your Order ID]”.
  2. Provide Necessary Proof: In your email, you must include:
    • Your full name and Order ID.
    • A clear description of the defect.
    • Clear, unedited photos and/or a short video showing the defect. This is mandatory for our team to assess the issue.
  3. Await Our Review: Our support team will review your claim and respond to you within 48 business hours with a decision.

The Return Process (If Approved)

If your return request is approved, our team will provide you with instructions.

  • Customer Responsibility: You will be responsible for securely packing the item and shipping it back to us.
  • Shipping Costs: The cost of return shipping must be paid by the customer and is non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Store Credit

Upon receiving and inspecting the returned defective item, we will process your credit.

  • Form of Refund: Approved refunds will be issued exclusively in the form of Store Credit to your Moody Ducks account. We do not offer cash or credit/debit card refunds.
  • Processing Time: Please allow 3-5 business hours for the store credit to appear in your account after we have received the returned item.

What is a Manufacturing Defect?

A manufacturing defect is a flaw that prevents a product from functioning as intended.

  • Examples of Defects: A pen that will not write, a DIY kit with missing essential components from a sealed package, or a stapler that is mechanically non-functional.
  • What is NOT a Defect: Minor cosmetic imperfections (like a slight colour variation from the screen), damage to the outer packaging, or any damage caused by customer misuse are not considered manufacturing defects and are not eligible for returns.
